Three Year Old Class:  2 Day - Thursday and Friday
Four year olds will be accepted if four-year-old classes are filled

Three Year Old Class:  3-Day- Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday

Age Requirements for Enrollment

As with the public schools, children must be the class age by September 30^th of the school year.  In the event that enrollment is not at full capacity, the Preschool Committee has the authority to place students in our program although their birth date may fall after the stated cut-off date of September 30^th.  These placements will occur only on a per student basis following a meeting between parents, teacher, and the Preschool Director.  Children will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis.  No child will be considered for placement when his/her birthday falls after December 31^st for the current school year.  If the child re-enters our program, he/she will be in his/her school age class.

Tinkling Spring Preschool Enrollment Policy

Tinkling Spring Preschool admits students of any race, color, sex and national or ethnic origin to all rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available to students at the school.  It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, sex, or national or ethnic origin in administration of its educational policies or practices, admission policies, or other school-administered programs.  Tinkling Spring Preschool reserves the right to select students and/or maintain their enrollment on the basis of the child's readiness and ability to participate in the Preschool program, the ability of the Preschool program to meet that child's needs, the parent(s) committment to the school's philosphy, objectives and policies, their good character, and their willingness and ability to cooperate with the Tinkling Spring Preschool administration and abide by its policies.  The Tinkling Spring Preschool Committee will make the final decision for accepting and/or dismissing a student from the Preschool.

Inclement weather policy ~  Please note that we follow the Augusta County School schedule.  If Augusta County schools are closed due to inclement weather, the preschool will be closed as well.    If Augusta County schools are on either a 1 or 2 hour delay, the preschool will operate on a 1 hour delay opening at 10:00 a.m. instead of 9:00 a.m.
