Welcome to Tinkling Spring Preschool.  We have so many wonderful things happening at our school. What better way to spend your day than to be around little children teaching and nurturing them as they grow.  Our days are spent learning about:

     *themes of the week
     *jobs for the day
     *arts and crafts
     *letters and numbers
*getting along and playing with others
     *the Bible
     *music development
and many more aspects that go along with preparing children for Kindergarten. At Tinkling Spring Preschool children are given the opportunity to develop socially, academically, and physically. We take field trips throughout the year and invite people from the community to come in and speak with the children on various topics.  Children are instructed in Bible, library, and music once a week.

In 1990, Tinkling Spring Presbyterian Church embarked on a new ministry through offering a preschool program for young children.  From its inception, the purpose has been threefold.  First, the preschool seeks to provide an environment where children are nurtured with Christian love. The Bible class provides a place where stories of the faith and the wondrous love of God can be shared.  Secondly, the preschool seeks to enhance the development of young children with age appropriate curriculum.  Children will be met where they are in their development and teachers will provide opportunities for growth physically, socially, intellectually, and spiritually.  Thirdly, the preschool believes that a strong self-image and positive self-esteem are essential for life in our world.  By providing a loving, nurturing, Christian environment, along with a developmental program, it is our hope that each child's self-image will be positive, secure, and a mirroring of the image of God as was intended from birth.

The Tinkling Spring Preschool welcomes the support and involvement of the congregation, parents, and grandparents.  It is always rewarding to see teachers, parents, and friends working together in a cooperative effort to enhance the growth of our young children.
